QUESTION: What is the difference between a Surface Mount and Wall Mount TEKA product?

 

ANSWER: The TEKA Illumination website makes a distinction between surface mounted luminaries and wall mounted luminaries which at first glance seems arbitrary. The main distinction which separates the two categories of fixtures are the inclusion of a canopy and stem from fixtures that do not have a canopy or stem. These fixtures all share in that their sources cannot be independently aimed in a particular direction.
